Rodney White/ Principal

Rodney White was selected as the first principal of the new Young Men's Leadership Academy in 2012. He came to YMLA from Glencrest 6th Grade Center, where he had served as principal since 2010.

Mr. White joined the Fort Worth ISD in 2000 as a science teacher at Dunbar Middle School. Since then he has been a lead content teacher, a science department chair, assistant principal and principal.

Mr. White grew up in San Antonio. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, and earned a Master of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also holds certifications in International Baccalaureate, secondary life-earth sciences and principal for grades EC-12.
