P-TECH High School Programs
Pathways to Technology Early College High School (PTECH) students also have the opportunity to earn a level 1 or level 2 certificate in a career field from our college partner, along with along with their high school diploma – tuition-free. In addition to the educational opportunities offered through PTECH programs, students are provided work-based learning experiences with industry partners typically during junior and senior year. Through internships and apprenticeships, students may earn credentials such as licenses and certificates aligned to their chosen career pathway.
Opportunities are available to students participating in a PTECH school: 1. Students will learn employment and career expectations firsthand through relationships forged with industry partners. 2. Students will earn both college hours and industry certificates in their PTECH pathway. 3. Students will visit industry partner job sites and work directly with industry representatives while in high school.

- Tarrant County College South / FWISD Collegiate High School: PTECH for Energy partnering with Oncor and the City of Fort Worth Water Department
